Project Harmony offers many ways to share your time and talent.
Volunteers are very important to the success of our organization and help us provide the highest quality care and service for the children and families at Project Harmony. Currently, volunteers are scheduled on an as needed basis when we have special events or projects that arise throughout the year. Please contact Lauren Peterson at email@example.com to be added to an email list for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Outdoor Volunteers Needed
Project Harmony is looking for volunteers throughout the summer and fall seasons to help keep our grounds pristine and welcoming. Jobs include pulling weeds, trimming overgrowth, removing debris and sweeping walkways around our building and in our healing garden. Groups or individuals are welcome Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Contact Lauren Peterson at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to schedule a time to volunteer.
Here are some other impactful ways you can support children and families.
Host a Donation Drive
Children in immediate need of refuge are welcomed by professionals in our Triage Center. Each child is provided a light meal, clothing, comfort and hygiene items, along with a backpack. We rely on these generous donations from the community to give the children we serve the items they deserve. Check out our wish list for current needs.
Sponsor a Fundraising Event
Engage your colleagues or friends and organize a fundraising activity. Below are a couple of examples of what groups have done but the possibilities are endless!
- Have a “jeans day” at work with the proceeds going to support the children at Project Harmony.
- Invite Project Harmony to speak at a staff meeting or civic group and take up a gift collection. Or bring your group to our facility for a tour!
