Description:
This training is designed for speech interpreters who are currently collaborating with or are planning on collaborating with mental health providers. The training will provide participants knowledge of the therapeutic process, different therapeutic modalities and relevant terminology, understand what research suggests should be the governing ethical principles for mental health settings, and practical approaches for collaborating with mental health providers to maximize outcomes for clients.
