Description:
Invitation Only
Project Harmony is getting ready to launch a community-wide initiative to end Sex Trafficking. Each of you play a critical role in responding to trafficking in the metro area and it will take all of us working together to solve this problem. We would like to invite you to a meeting with our OJJDP (Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention) federal partners, who will be present to help facilitate the discussion and bring a national perspective and expertise to this meeting. We will discuss what’s working , identify the gaps, and brainstorm what’s needed. We will cover four primary areas needed for a comprehensive approach to end trafficking, including Prevention, Protection, Prosecution and Partnership. We will explain each of these in more detail and the partnership needed with all of you to ensure success.
We hope you will make time to attend ONE of two scheduled meetings so we can get a broad perspective of this issue, what role you and/or your agency plays, and how to move forward together in ending sex trafficking in our community.
Note: There is NO recording. If you are unable to attend, please unenroll to allow a seat for someone else.
