Description:
Reclaiming Your Why is a program of great power, treating vicarious trauma at its root. This training helps normalize and attenuate secondary trauma and reduce the shame often engendered by these stress reactions, while creating valuable mental health tools, increasing care-providers’ ability to work from a place of compassion, enabling them to receive the full measure of self-esteem available from their work, and gaining resiliency regardless of the nature of their organization.
In this immersive 4-hour experience, we delve into the essence of your professional journey, equipping you with techniques to overcome challenges that might obscure your initial passion. Through artistic practices, thoughtful journaling, and collaborative discussions, you will reclaim your “why,” and craft practical self-care strategies that will reignite your fervor for making a lasting impact in the realm of helping professions.
