Description:
From the Stonewall Riots to marriage equality, the past few decades have been very progressive for the LGBTQ+ community. While great strides have been made, the members of the LGBTQ+ community still face many adversities. Some of these adversities can result in trauma that affects the daily lives of individuals. In this training, participants will learn best practices related to working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. This includes proper terminology as well as recognizing and understanding community-specific traumas.
