Description:
Empathic strain is expensive! It’s the profound emotional, physical and mental exhaustion that helping professionals and caregivers can develop over the course of their career. If not recognized and dealt with, it leads to burnout. It costs caretakers their vitality while organizations lose big through attrition. We hope you’ll join us as we learn how to reduce the risk of empathic strain, discover tools to mitigate its effects, and look for ways to build support systems and accountability into our days to make our work both fulfilling and sustainable.
