Other impactful ways you can support children and families we serve
Complete a Service Project
Every child at Project Harmony is offered a blanket. Our mental health services offer clients fidgets and coping bags. Create tie blankets and coping bags to donate. Contact Gabby Hogan with questions or to schedule a drop off time.
Provide a Support Group Meal
Project Harmony hosts several support groups for caregivers and youth in the evenings every fall and spring. We are looking for generous individuals to provide dinner for families attending the support group. The meals will need to be able to feed approximately 20 people. You can make or buy the dinner (it can be as having pizza or sandwiches delivered). You do not need to provide drinks or utensils, nor will you serve the meal to participants. Include your coworkers, friends, or family to help with the meal!
If you are interested in providing a meal for our fall support group, please sign up here. For questions, contact Lauren Peterson.
Host a Donation Drive
Children in immediate need of refuge are welcomed by professionals in our Triage Center. Each child is provided a light meal, clothing, comfort and hygiene items, along with a backpack. We rely on generous donations from the community to give the children we serve the items they deserve. Check out our Wish List for current needs.
Sponsor a Fundraising Event
Engage your colleagues or friends and organize a fundraising activity. Below are a couple of examples of what groups have done but the possibilities are endless!
- Have a “jeans day” at work with the proceeds going to support the children at Project Harmony.
- Dedicate a tip jar to Project Harmony.
- Host a birthday party and have loved ones donate in lieu of gifts.
Host a Speaker
Invite Project Harmony to speak at group meetings or bring your group to our facility for a tour! These experiences provide an in-depth look at the services that Project Harmony provides. Contact Gabby Hogan to schedule.
