A racing heart, shallow breathing, sweaty palms and you can’t remember your name… This is what often happens when you are called to testify in court. Testifying training is an experiential learning opportunity designed to help professionals gain comfort in the courtroom. Topics discussed during this training include the different types of cases in Juvenile Court, how to read a summons, and strategies to prepare for your court appearance. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to practice testifying in an environment that offers support to decrease courtroom anxiety in the future.
