About Lana Connor
Lana Connor is a UNL College of Law graduate. After practicing law for several years, Lana discovered her passion–helping the children and families of Nebraska live better lives. Lana has been with DHHS for the past 15 years and has supervised the Child Advocacy Coordination Team with the department since its creation in 2018. The CAC Team’s primary focus is the investigation of sexual abuse cases. Lana received the Nebraska State Government Leadership Certificate in 2018, completed the NCAC Child Forensic Interview Training in 2021 and was a 2019 Kids First Award winner.
